By last Sunday the contractor had applied all the red roof panels.
And by the 22nd, most of the white wall cladding was up on the south side!
Just a quick update on things happening at the Electric Car Shop. In
addition to all the normal work being done. (S105, the Michigan car,
The PCC, L10). The NSL 160 needed to have a seat cushion repaired,
which was done. With the Terror on the Railroad event going on, It was
decided to service the batteries on NSL 714. It allowed the battery
lights to come on if the pole was lost; also, the vent system would
work as well. This is not the only work that's been done, but just some
highlights of the work.
Respectfully Submitted,
Joel Ahrendt

A cold and windy day but Kirk Warner and Fred Ash are applying primer to the plug door and tracks. And you can see that we DID finish the first color coat on the west half of the south side - progress pics from last Sunday.

The caboose got pulled out of the Barn 3 spot to provide better light for continued painting. Here you can see (l to r) Lee Regione hiding behind the scaffold on the left, Wayne Bates and Bill Leider on the platform. The red trim color is going on the grab irons, railing, and platform appliances.
