Eric Lorenz is working on the front of the car, doing some remaining body work. You can see the tremendous difference that a coat of primer paint makes. For years we have passed this car with its 'measles' amd speckled body work, and now taking shape, we can appreciate the styling and body work.
Here is the north side essentially completely in primer. Only some priming on the front remains to be completed before cold weather sets in.
The Wednesday Irregulars have completed this car including lettering. I know I have posted images of this work elsewhere on the blogs, but a search has failed me. Enjoy this view under cloudy skies 10/3/09.

Here is UP 18 on track 54 and with the display side painted and lettered. If you have not been out this summer it makes a great welcome to visitors at the corner of Central and Depot. Here, you see headlight gleaming under cloudy skies on 10/3/09.
