With great thanks to Pete Pedersen who supplied additional photos from last Saturday - - -
Bill Wulfert works to clean and restore the metal framed windows from a CTA 4000 steel el car.
Rich Witt, Bob Kutella, and Victor Humphreys work on setting the table mounted router for the next step on the N&W 2050 windows.
Now Rich and I are actually trimming away some of the beading to allow fitting of the corner joints. I wonder if the surgeon envisioned me doing this so soon when he issued me the orthopedic glove seen on my left hand.
I am pretty happy with the first two windows taking shape, although something seems amiss to Rich Witt based on that fierce scowl!
Rather, a fitting beginning as Bob Kutella and Victor Humphreys begin to piece together the parts for the second size window needed for the cab on N&W 2050.
Here a better shot of Tim Peters working on the 22 new clerestory windows for the CRT 1268. The stack behind him is waiting for his attention.
Thanks again for the images, Pete.
