There was quite a good crew today, but of course many of them flocked to the barns to ogle the new arrivals and help start the umpacking and cleanup of those cars. Perhaps my camara problems are moving behind me, no pics last Wednesday but a few from Saturday.
Rich Witt and Mark Gelman were constructing a new sorting table for the RPO car - yes, passenger department guys work hard also.
Buzz Morisette was working on the MILW caboose windows, here using the router to trim beading before fitting the mortise and tenon joints.
Victor Humphreys is checking the fit of the seven parts needed for this N&W 2050 cab window, while Buzz uses the other half of the bench for MILW windows.
Victor carefully trims a tenon on the small bandsaw. Each part and piece has an interlocking joint just as on the originals.
The results speak for themselves. Here are two of the new cab windows about ready to glue together for the final time. Earlier this week we completed final assembly and glueing of the first four of the windows for this project.

I was not around at the time. General discussion suggests that it was "pretty marginal" in a number of areas. Nigel
