Yes, moving pictures have been around for about a century. Our version shows Jeff Brady working to finish another mortise and tenon joint for the new baggage doors. It is hard to get Jeff to sit still and pose for a photo.
The rail fits just fine. Maybe a little tight. Now, "How do I get it back out of there?"
Ray Schmid is back in the saddle - or - back working on the new roof saddles. He is sanding the surfaces on our machine and you may spot a few more resting on the band saw table behind him.
I will take "Door Number Two"! Ray and Jeff are assembling door number two for its first dry fit. It is a big door and heavy, although the camera angle has tended to foreshorten it here.
There were a few souls working in the wood shop yesterday and I will post the work on the Michigan 28 as a separate entry.
Here are two of the cab windows for the N&W 2050 in the glue press. Windows five and six on the project. Two remaining before we start the sanding and finish work. These windows are divided into four lights or panes, have a lot of fussy work and are much more time consuming.

I was not around at the time. General discussion suggests that it was "pretty marginal" in a number of areas. Nigel
