Victor Humphreys is doing the final inspection on the eight completed new windows for the N&W 2050 cab. The sawdust phase is over, next will be priming, painting, and glazing.
Tim Peters demonstrates a jig he constructed to drill a sort of angled pocket hole to mount the new CRT 1268 upper sash windows. Now, if we had April weather some of these completed windows would be finding their way onto the side of the car!
Rich Witt spent some time taking measurements and creating a design drawing for the new CA&E 409 sash. This provides a reference document as well as trains us to determine the sequence of steps needed to construct the new frame.
Randy Hicks, working as project manager, explains details to Greg F. Ceurvorst as Greg worked the day on two CA&E 319 windows; stripping paint and hardware, and priming them before days end. Apologies to Greg as I know I butchered his name - asked him yesterday and did not write it down.
