Jeff Fryman is painting almost 200 feet of new window beading for the new windows made for the CA&E Trolleyville cars. This is the molding applied to retain the glazing once the frames have also been primed and painted.
Victor Humphreys has spent a lot of time as we proceed to work on getting all the seats in the TM 972 re-upholstered. Readers here have followed along as the car has received stunning new paint and lettering on the exterior. Next step is to get the seats covered and here Victor has a walkover bottom cushion needing some minor repair work to mount the rocker castings.
The photo caption is PAINTING but each project requires painting and more painting. Buzz Morisette is involved in ten new windows for the MILW 01984 caboose. As if making the windows is not enough, then comes prime painting, glazing, and two coats of color (different interior and exterior colors) before being ready to mount them back in the car.
Not strictly a pic taken of work in the wood shop, but can anyone identify this car? Eric Lorenz is in the photo. If you look closely you will see his head and arms, parts of them, poking through a hole in the roof of our Cleveland PCC. The car has a monitor or ventilation shroud on the roof and it is being lowered into place upon the mounts.

I was not around at the time. General discussion suggests that it was "pretty marginal" in a number of areas. Nigel
