The roof slat work looks great! Keep up the good work. Canvas next year?

Thanks for the comment Kirk. Right after we are finished installing the front roof slats, the canvas will go on. We have already purchased the canvas, so right now next year is looking good.

It's under-appreciated by those who watch the finished restoration whiz by on the tracks, but those who know are thrilled and elated to realize the final result of a magnificent job well done. Thanks for this and I know we'll all look forward to enjoying both viewing for photos and riding for the joy. All Aboard! And, thanks again.

I have a facebook page that is dedicated to finding out about the Interurban railway through Lansing Michigan and Dewitt & St. Johns. I stumbled onto a website that had information about car #28 and how it moved to the IRM. Is there a better update on car # 28 other than the one listed on your website currently? I believe, but cannot confirm if #28 was used in service here in Lansing Michigan or not (I live in Lansing and am trying to find out as much about #28 as I can) If someone could update me with the latest news regarding this car, it would be greatly appreciated....:) Sincerely, Timothy Lewis
