Wow, some of those carlines and roof boards look pretty bad. Is the roof going to get fixed too? or just the inside panals and the leaks stay?

Roger-- Regarding this ceiling project, I read a request on another forum (by one of the people you named above) for some large Masonite panels. He wrote, "We need a sheet of Masonite to cover a 51" by 136" ceiling." That's about 4.25' x 11.3', which is a bit larger than the standard 4x8-foot sheets one finds at hardware stores. Perhaps someone reading this knows a source and can help?

I have a contact from another museum and already have asked for availability of the size 5x9. We will see if they are available by special order. I believe they are. Roger

From the information I am getting from the crew the roof will NOT be repaired only the interior. The "leaks" will have to be addressed at a future date. I bet as project progresses some minor repair might have to be made to support the light fixtures. As you can see that ceiling was a "hornets nest!!" Please consider sending a donationto help defray the costs. Along w/ it send a donation to the Barn 14 barn fund!!! Thanks
