I would be interested in the condition of the Shay's boiler. It sounds that if you are not expecting to use the swager for some time that either the Shay's boiler work is a way off or a rebuild and re-tubing of it's boiler will not be required for future operation. Keep up the great work!

Mark, Overlooking one critical piece of information !. We swaged the tubes for the Shay back around April last year so they are ready and waiting in the boxcar. One blog in which it was noted was April 27th 2013. Nigel
