Hello Roger. What are the best days to come out to volunteer in the passenger car department? I am interested in helping out during the summer. Is there a particular place to meet before getting to work?
Hello Tom Since being retired I spend many of my spare time[ days] at Irm. We meet generally on Wednesdays and ,of course, Saturdays and Sundays. The eastern end of barn of barn 3 which house many of our passenger equipment is where there is adequate parking. Hello again, Raphael. Yes it was first built w/ an Observation deck but was removed in 1939 and rebuilt to its present configuration. Please read the two blogs regard the Mt. Harvard. Thanks Roger
As built, Mt. Harvard was an open platform car with nearly identical floor plan to the Inglehome. The only difference was the carbody construction. Despite Mt. Harvard's conversion to a solarium in 1939-1940, the interior accommodations remain quite similar.
