Are the doors tall enough to accommodate the bi-level equipment? Or will that be the next barn?

Hello Patrick Yes, the doors are high enough for the storage of all our bilevels Thanks Roger

Nice to see the progress. I should have looked myself last weekend. Question: I can see that the inner doors are mounted higher than the outer ones, but all the openings are the same on the outside. Is it just that the outer ones don't clear the openings when they're open?

I was going to say the same thing, David. Yes, the openings are all the same but apparently the two outer doors don't clear the entire height of the opening. Sometimes this can be adjusted within the opening mechanism like your typical garage door. Hopefully that will change. Patrick: Yes, the CNW bilevels will be going in Barn 14. There isn't enough paid indoor space for the Highliners (yet).

folks, does this style of doors mean that no electric cars will go in these two barns? if not passenger cars? Ted Miles, IRM Member

Hi Ted To my knowledge electric cars will be stored in the barns but there are no plans for 600 being installed. In other words it will be dead storage. Thanks Roger

Not that these barns need it, but electric overhead can be bridged across the doorway for roll up doors with a hinged piece of metal connecting the wires. Most modern light rail shops probably use this type of system.
