The 33C project has been idle for a few years, although it has seen some work off and on over that time. Once a few other projects get completed, we'll pick up on it full time again.
I have been following the restoration of the 504 it appears it will be a real beauty when it is finished. I was wondering if you have a painting and styling diagram for the restoration of the paint job or are you going off of photographs.
My partner and and I recently restored a GE U30C to CB&Q Chinese Red and were wondering if you would want to display an enlargement with the SD-24 that you are currently repainting. The Chinese Red scheme is 50 years old next month and the U30C restored depicts the last order of new locomotives to be painted in this scheme (The SD-24's being the first).
That would be a neat idea, but we have to finish the SD24 first. We are getting close, pretty much down to primer and paint at this point, with some heavier parts to bolt back one once the areas under them are painted.
