Hi! I am new to this web comment section of the IRM. If this is the wrong place for a question, I am sorry! Two Electric Cars I have always wanted to ride are: 1. The CNS&M Electroliner 2. The Chicago & West Towns Trolley Does anyone know if either or both of these pieces of equipment will run this summer at the museum? Please Let Me Know! Thanks! Chuck S.

Neither is likely to operate this year. The 'Liner needs a significant infusion of funds in order to rebuild its traction motors, funds which are not currently in place. West Towns 141 is much closer to operating - its motors are out right now being rebuilt - but still needs some finishing touches like steps, lifeguards and final electrical/mechanical work. The West Towns car may only be a year or two from operating, though.
