Nope, x38 is the odd sister out. While x36 and x37 have plows situated in front of the rear truck, x38 just has a squared-off hunk of reinforced metal. REPLY: I am not so sure. Builder's Photos and other vintage images show all three with with the flat boiler plate 'wear surface' on what I call the flanger blades under the mid section of the plow. I am sure those took a beating and had to be repaired or replaced. For the post you are commenting on, X 36 and X 38 show the flat flanger blades and only the X 37 had the curved plow shaped blade in evidence. So, if one of the sisters is wearing a new pair of shoes, still they are sisters! Bob Kutella
