I fired preserved steam in the UK for 25 years and I surely want to get 1630 running while I am still able to lift the shovel !!

I just noticed in the news that Frisco #1625 in Dallas, TX (which I assume is a sister of IRM's #1630) was just lifted onto a flat with a crane for transportation to a new museum site. Photo:

Sorry for the delay. As mentioned I have been out of the country.
Interesting. I am no expert on the history and variations within this class. Clearly #1625 is closely related to #1630 as I see that our SL&SF drawing covers #1613 to 1632. There are however obvious differences in that the picture apparently shows an air pump mounted on the boiler whereas 1630 carries hers on a frame at the front.
