Any ideas when the area with UP 18 and them other two tracks will get a roof? Buzz M. was kind enough to give me a little tour of the units in that line and the weather is hardly treating them well.
Actually UP 18 is in yard 5 which has FOUR tracks. It is unlikely we will ever construct a Barn over that yard since recent changes to the Building Code prohibits something there, that close to Barn 4.
What equipment goes into the next Barn rests to a large extent in the hands of donors. Space is assigned based on money subscribed. So the most donations to equipment will determine what gets inside space. Also understand that those new pieces paying their way under roof MAY not end up in Barn 14. Some new ones may be spotted inside existing barns based on length and track arrangements and some occupants of Barn 14 may be those shorter cars in some of the older Barns. But a new subscriber to indoor space WILL be under roof.

Thank you for the response, I think about the turbine especially, she still has her prime movers and so do many engines in that line, if they are to run again or keep running the weather is the least helpful thing. I assume this is why 6930 and the FP45 were moved indoors as well. What are the plans for 6930 and the FP these days?
I should not be making a reply for the Internal Combustion Department. Whatever the long range plans are, for either of these, neither is a trivial prospect. Jamie, can you answer this?
