i have thought about the tender for 938. this is just a theoretical guess. when the CRIP was refurbishing 938 for the end of steam, the 930 might have been scrapped because of the units condition while its tender went to the shops to be used for 938's last steam excursion. while 938's tender was being worked on during the time, but never finished and later scrapped or used on a MOW machine. even though my guess is as good as anybody else's, this might be a worthy question.
