speaking of the susan marie, will it eventually be repainted into the 2-tone green found on the southern crescent? because since the train made its debut, it has since become a trend throughout the southern. (Heavyweight trains to be more specific).

I do not believe that Susan Marie ever wore the two tone scheme, as it was a business car. The photos I have seen of it as SOU business car #10 show a single shade of green. The paint options for Susan Marie in her present configuration are repainting the current scheme, the Amtrak "pointless arrow" scheme, or Southern Green.

Hello Raphael The Susan Marie will not be painted to the 2-tone Southern green. Per the donors wishes it will always be kept in the colors it is. FYI the PV is named for the owners daughter. Full restoration w/ paint is estimated at $50-75K.
