Folks,
That's great news about the arrival of the Mt Harvard. It is a long time since an historic Pullman heavyweight car in this condition has arrived at the museum!
Thank you to all who worked on it!
Ted Miles
Thank You All for your hard work on preserving railroad equipment. Bringing back memories of the past. I still remember steamers of the CN&W running pass our house when I was a lad. When they abandoned the Fond Du Lac Air Line in 2000, I felted the lost era of the time, which I really enjoyed. They may take away the trains, buildings and rails. But they will never take the memories I cherish.
Of the locomotives currently either operational or under restoration, can any of them be turned around on the track on museum grounds? If not is there any long term plans for the museum to possibly install a turntable or even semi roundhouse to better house and show the collection? You guys are doing a wonderful job! Wish I could come up and lend a hand.
Logan,
At present we cannot turn a significant sized steam loco.
There have always been plans for a turntable and roundhouse. A younger team is now working on detail plans - and obviously a MAJOR fundraising. So watch this space.

there is the Y track right in front of the parking Lot if that counts. its the triangle shaped track where east union lies within. thats the best answer i can give.
Raphael,
You are correct in saying that the tracks around the depot form a "Y" on which equipment is turned. However the question related to turning steam locomotives and the East leg of this "Y" is the car line and far too tight a curvature for most steam locos. The Shay however can be turned thru this area with no issue.
