It is great to see motors going into the #24 elevated Car. I think it was one of the first Elevated cars at IRM; and now a powered car at long last!

Are you planning to retire the Lackawanna commuter in favor of the Rock Island commuter cars? running something from the neighborhood is a good thing. Yes? Ted Miles, IRM Member

Hello Ted We are not retiring the Lack commuters but will only be using them on days when the passenger counts are generally lower. R I coaches will be used in conjunction with steam operations Thanks Roger
