well restoring 2050's cab is one thing, but you will need to put in a lot of effort if you are going to restore the locomotive itself and tons of elbow grease even though you will get a lot of gear grease. but in the meantime, keep it up!

Well, read the posts carefully. The WOODSHOP is certainly not restoring the 2050 nor is there a project for the steam department to do so. As I previously explained there are numerous fix-it-up projects on many many items in the collection, both to maintain the piece and to improve the display. Do not jump to conclusions.
