This is looking very good! I am quite excited, many are too! This is going to be one of the better Diesel Days from my understanding power wise, keep up the good work Jamie and all volunteers!

What, no Joy #2? For the people who don't know me that is sarcasm.
#2 Dan Boylan on 2014-07-12 02:16
Joy 2 was moved out of the barn to get to an electric behind it last week.

Great lineup. I see the WS 102 has come home, which is a bit bittersweet.
#3 Eric on 2014-07-12 07:42
It is half way back, we're expecting it this coming week as long as there are no delays enroute.

Is Union Pacific 1848 (B40-8) a new addition to IRM and is Wisconsin & Southern 102 (E9B) still on lease to W&S or is it back at IRM for good? This list looks great!
#4 Nick Gawriluk on 2014-07-12 08:24
The lease on 102 is up and it is being returned to IRM per the agreement.
#4.1 Jamie Kolanowski on 2014-07-12 20:33
Several questions, how much money did you spend to get the UP B40-8? Also, will CNW 1518 ever run again? Will the MILW U25B ever run again? Will ATSF 92 ever run again? Will you ever have enough money to finish their restorations and still keep the operating diesels operating?
#5 Matt Maloy on 2014-07-12 11:48
ATSF 92 has ran under its own power on museum campus before, but not enough to actually pull a load by itself. but they're working on it. as for CNW 1518, the has probably ceased up, but can be fixed. so many projects, so little time.
#5.1 Raffi on 2014-07-14 20:22
Raffi, 92 has NOT run at IRM, and there is NOTHING to indicate that CNW 1518 has a seized engine

Greetings, Are units UP 1848 and WSOR 102 merely visiting or something more?
#6 Jerry Pyfer on 2014-07-12 13:36
UP 1848 was recently donated to IRM. The 102 was always owned by IRM and was leased to the WSOR, the lease is up and it is being returned.
#6.1 Jamie Kolanowski on 2014-07-12 20:35
THEY SHOULD HAVE A PARADE 4 CHICAGO DAY
#7 TONY JOHNSON on 2014-07-12 15:26
Is the WSOR E9B back at the museum for good, or is it still under lease?
#8 Cliff McKay on 2014-07-12 19:54
The lease on 102 is up and it is being returned to IRM per the agreement.
#8.1 Jamie Kolanowski on 2014-07-12 20:33
Is 102 going to stay in WSOR colors or will she be repaired eventually?
#9 Luke Solberg on 2014-07-13 10:08
In previous years, there was a caboose train in the lineup in the parade. So there is no caboose train this year or will there be one. Just curious... and if there were to be one, what would the power of that train be?

How long does the parade of power usually last once it has started, two hours or so?
