Hello Bill Yes you are right! I do remember Bill Nedden waxing the Erie Lacks. Do you remember the hat he use to ware? Those were the good ole days.

Folks, I am pleased to see this kind of work going on. I believe that IRM has more heavy weight cars that any other museum; with more on the way! Ted Miles in San Francisco IRM Member

Thanks Ted for your kind remarks! Yes we have many and now we are working on a few more but it sure takes a lot of $ to ship one of these. Shipping by truck is the best way but more expensive but at least the damaged potential is minimized to the museum. I coming years we will create a very good representative heavy weigh train. Roger
