Folks, As an IRM member I am pleased to hear that the Museum will be taking part in the auction. C,A & E cars would be at home at the IRM. And how long has it been since a ready to run car has been offered to the museum?! Ted Miles

You guys do a fantastic job...............thank you very much and now go after the 1940 Wagner Hudson that operates at Kiddieland in Melrose Park. It gets retired there on Oct 4th. Thanx again, Bob

I went to Kiddieland on their last public day, and their steamer looks like a Dreyfus Hudson but has a 4-8-4 wheel arrangement. A.J. Wagner & Sons built miniature steam locomotives in various gauges for amusement parks in Plainfield, IL until 1975. I have heard a rumor that a resort operator near Utica, IL is dealing for most of Kiddieland's rides with the intention of recreating the park, so this one might not become available; for those of us with fond Kiddieland memories, that's OK!

Hey Mike whatever it is I hope we get to see it running again somewhere!!! I was out in the parking lot watching the trains for a while until the closing announcement........a sad moment indeed. I hope the Utica rumor becomes reality!!! Bob

Nick, Since my first day as an IRM member in 1968 I have lived the dream of obtaining at least one of the 450's and the Pullman 409. Now we will have 2 450's AND the Pullman+ 2 other wood cars, and an open car. (Now that I live in PA, I will also enjoy 453 riding through the Scranton tunnel. GOOD WORK GOOD LUCK Bob Foley
