IRM Webcam Information
The Illinois Railway Museum is pleased to present the Spaulding Tower Webcam. Our camera
is facing towards the East from Spaulding Tower, overlooking both station tracks, our main line,
and part of the west leg of the wye. The museum currently operates electric cars daily
from Monday through Friday, and operates many other trains Saturdays and Sundays.
Your browser must be fairly recent, and javascript is required and must be enabled. We now have
two frame rate settings to choose from, an 8 second refresh interval and a 2 second refresh
interval. The 2 second refresh should only be used on broadband connections of 128kbps or
faster. The 8 second interval appears to be reliable down to 20kbps. The default is 8s/f,
to view the higher frame rate, click the 2s/f link on the top right of the webcam page.
