The car is sponsored by the Pullman Library (Ted Anderson and crew) and will be used to store some of that collection.  End Details  Casting Details  Underframe Shot  Hidden Underframe Stencil This lettering on the car underframe puts to rest the speculation on the car number.  Reporting Marks This set of reporting marks was used only to get the car moved to IRM and perhaps contributed to the confusion over the correct number.  Truck Frame And on the truck frame we can see the MOW service number - BN 976090 Tuesday, November 24. 2009Santa Fe 2544 Update - 11-22-2009Last winter a number of older seats more appropriate to the car were restored and installed.  Needle Chipping Lately, Mark Hoffmann has been needlechipping the interior walls, and most of one side below the windows is complete.
