Thursday, November 13. 2008Monday, November 10. 2008ME 28 Update - November 9, 2008We have not updated this entry for awhile, but rest assured the work goes on.  Inside the Car Norm Krentel and Ray Schmid are in the baggage section struggling with a blank to cover the opening after removal of one of the baggage doors.  What Do we Save In the shop, Victor Humphreys is examining the south baggage door to determine repairs or replacemnt. Monday, November 10. 2008Woodshop Update November 9, 2008 Victor is checking the dry fit of a new window Victor Humphreys is seen checking the dry fit of a new window for caboose IC 9792. We are planning to construct a full set of 8 new windows this winter in the shop.  Wayne is constructing a mockup of a belt guard Wayne Baksic is constructing a wood strip mockup of a guard for the belt area of our new (circa 1882) molder. There are several flapping leather belts and the geometry is complex, so we thought it worth the time to make a mockup. |
