Thursday, May 21. 2009URTX 26640 Update May 20, 2009 More Ladder Work Victor Humphreys is applying new paint to the back of the ladder to be reinstalled on the north side.  Siding Painted Victor is painting the remaining saved siding boards primed in the last few weeks. Note that almost the entire north side of this car is nearing 'restored' status. Thursday, May 21. 2009New Trolley WIre - May20, 2009 West of Olson Road Here is a photo of the line car west of Olson Road with a crew helping Max Tyms. The project is to hang new wire and upgrade existing to allow for regular operation into the 50th Ave station. The crew, led by Max, included Roger Smessaert, Charlie Strong, Adam Robillard, Stan Wdowikowski, Henry Vincent, and Frank Hicks. Closer to us, inspect the photo to note the pulley hangers and a second wire hoisted over the south track. So, where is the crew? In this pic two of them are up on the platform of the line car.
