Monday, August 17. 2009URTX 26640 Update August 16, 2009 Roof Eaves New wood to complete the second side of the car has been milled in our wood shop  Siding Several new boards made recently are primed and painted in the shop area by Victor Humphreys. The short pieces go below the plug door. These will be ready to install shortly, hope for good weather.  Plug Door, Left Side Kirk Warner is needle chipping the second plug door, and has uncovered some remnants of original lettering! Too bad we could not have done that on the wood siding.  Grab Iron Dick Cubbage takes a turn on the needle chipper, bracing a removed grab iron on some metal scaffold steps. |
