Happy holidays from the operations and decorations crew of the Happy Holiday Train! Here are a few pictures of the event this last weekend Nov 26 and Nov 27. It was a very successful weekend although Sunday was a bit foggy and brisk! The crowds very very excited to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. Many pictures were taken in and around the decorated areas of the campus. I personally, received a number of positive comments concerning the event and the museum as a whole. A number of guests also inquired whether a steam engine would be available for future holiday trains. I replied that we are considering that possibility! A lot of thanks should be heaped upon Paul Cronin, Jamie Kolanowski, Dave Diamond, and Nick Kallas and their crews. For without their help and leadership this event would not have occurred. Much more help is needed to complete the decorating of the property so if your interested in getting into the holiday mood or just like displaying holiday decorations your museum needs you to volunteer!
If we are to continue with this event in the upcoming years
we need you, our volunteers, to assist us in any way possible. Working with the guys and gals put me in the spirit of the season. To grow this event we need your help! Please consider volunteering this next weekend. Yes, and you too might shout... HO! HO! HO! Thanks Roger
