Thursday, April 3. 2014RI 2612 More frames installed 4-2-14Just a short but important update this time. Gary and I have now installed 8 seat frames including two that were removed by the previous owner. Remember the "bar"? That is where the two have been installed; making it look more and more like a Rock Island commuter coach!  Gary and I installed three seat frames March 29th.  Eight frames installed With the above picture you can see the progress with all eight being installed. Yesterday, we fastened 3 more to the wall and floor. It took us a while to find the old holes in the floor where the bar was but having a general idea helped locate them. It wasn't too long before the seat frame stands were secure to the concrete floor and frames secured to the wall.  Heres a picture to refresh your memory. The bar, what a mess! Please come out and visit our project along w/ the rest of the coach dept projects on the Saturday April 12th.
