Monday, August 24. 2009URTX 26640 Update August 23, 2009 B end Before the Thomas traffic built later in the day, Kirk Warner was able to wye the car with the help of Wes Lloyd. Then the needlechipping work began on the "B" end with some priming by the end of the day.  Door Track The lower door track was cleaned and primed during the day.  Door Stop The door stops were cleaned and painted as shop work and then reinstalled on the siding.  Siding The last 'regular' siding board has been installed. Specially milled trim boards remain to fit. More time is spent on the last picky few pieces than a dozen of the ordinary siding boards. |
