                                         I would like to say "Hello" to another new member.  Gary Sherman lives close to the museum and has already spent 5 days working on our Rock Island project.    Welcome, Gary and thanks for your hard work.                    The last couple of work sections have made a big difference in the interior appearance.   Please compare these pictures to the very last picture in this blog. You can see the difference volunteers can make in less than 1/2 year.                                                 Some of these pictures might seem repetitive but you must remember  there are  48 window posts and 50 windows in each Rock Island coach.                                                                                                   Please compare.    This last picture shows what can be done in less than six months with a team of people committed to one goal.   I am sure proud of them all!!                 Now....   You can help us with a donation to the RI 2612 fund.   Help the museum pay off the track storage charges.     Please watch for another  upcoming blog with even more striking results.                         Thanks             Roger Kramer
